Ghanaian Rapper Guru has sounded a word of advice to his colleague artistes to focus on ways to make money from Online streaming of their music instead of slaying on Instagram for likes and comments. He made this known via a tweet.
The “Lapaz Toyota” hitmaker noted that likes and comments bring no financial rewards, instead, streaming of their songs can generate a lot of money to ensure that they also enjoy from their sweat.
His tweet read, “My dear Ghanaian artiste, 1 million Spotify streams equal about $7,000 whereas 1 million Instagram followers equals like and comments with no pay. So set your priority right. Tell the leaders to fix the system in Ghana. Something must change”.
