In less than two hours apart, KOD and Jon Germain announced today that they have left EIB under what they termed “mutual agreement.” Both presenters took to social media to make this unexpected announcement.
The fact that both KOD and Jon Germain’s exit came the same day and not far apart raised suspicions with us that there could be more than what is being officially peddled.
Kofi Asamoah and Kwasi Aboagye speaking on Peace Fm’s Entertainment Review on this issue have stated that the two media personalities’ contracts with EIB were terminated rather–contrary to their claims.
According to the above persons, KOD and Jon Germain were called by EIB management over an issue, over which management of EIB decided to terminate their contracts.
It’s believed that EIB will in public stick to the mutual termination story being peddled—at least the two have worked for the network for many years and have made some contribution. Therefore, officially throwing them under the bus as having sacked them or terminated their contracts over any matter wouldn’t be prudent for a company of EIB’s repute.
Apparently, the two didn’t see the termination coming.
