“My Heart Was Broken By A Girl” – Eazzy Stirs Controversy About Her S*xual Orientation

Ghanaian Singer Eazzy in an interview with Pulse Ghana has revealed that she is “single and overly protective of herself” because her heart has been broken on a couple of occasions. The singer has also stirred some controversy as to her sexual orientation by revealing that her heart was broken by a girl.

Asked about why she was single, the singer responded, ” “some girl b, let me leave it just like that but yeah some girl broke my heart,” however, upon further probe she added that “ I loved her and I thought she loved me but she turned out to not be very genuine”.

Eazzy revealed that she has tried dating a girl and has also tried dating single guys but all did not work out, adding that maybe trying two guys at a time might work out. It is unclear if she was being sarcastic or was being real, but her comments have sparked a controversy about whether she is straight or bisexual.

Born Mildred Ashong, Eazzy released her debut album Twinkle in August 2010. It was supported by the three singles: “Bo Wonsem Ma Me”, “Wengeze” and “One Gal”. The songs earned her two nominations at the 2010 4Syte Music Video Awards, as well as five nominations at the 2011 Ghana Music Awards. Eazzy hosted the Ghana Music Awards in 2014 and 2015. She was an official judge for The Next Big Thing, a hip hop talent series. Moreover, she was a judge on seasons 4, 5 and 7 of MTN Hit Maker.
