Ghanaian entertainment industry lovers were served a raw deal yesterday evening, when a widely advertised address by Kumawood actor Lilwin, which was ostensibly to address claims made against him by comedian Funny Face, turned into sharing of credit and thanksgiving.
Comedian Funny Face had in a widely circulated video, accused Lilwin, Kalybos and Bismark The Joke of working together to plot his downfall. He had also issued an ultimatum to the named persons, threatening to expose them if they dared to respond.

Social media was in a frenzy, with several entertainment fans expressing their excitement when Kumawood comic actor Lilwin finally disclosed that he was going to address the allegations. The address which started 20 minutes past the publicized time, 5 pm had about 3K social media users watching the live feed at the time.
Appearing in chief’s apparel, with a security detail, the excitement was over the roof. However, viewers were left disappointed when what was supposed to be a counter-attack to Funny Face’s claims, turned out to be a sharing of call credits and expression of thanks.

Lilwin who gifted call credits to his fans practically failed to speak about the allegations. He rather used the opportunity to thank his fans who he said have been supportive of his acting and music career. He pledged not to do anything that will make him disappoint his fans who respects him very much. He added that nobody can bring him down except God, who has the sole right.
Even more disappointing was the fact that Funny Face who had earlier expressed his intention to expose the Kumawood actor, should he go live, also failed to put his words to action.
