Ghana’s cases of COVID-19 has increased to 2,074 as the country has recorded 403 new cases. 212 persons are said to have fully recovered and have been discharged.
One more patient has died taking the number of deaths to 17. Greater Accra still leads the pack as the region with the most cases, followed by Ashanti and Eastern Regions.

The deadly virus continues to ravage the world as over three million cases have been reported worldwide with over 200,000 deaths in 185 countries.
The United States currently has the highest number of cases and the highest death toll in the world. They have currently recorded over one million cases with almost 60,000 deaths.

The virus was initially detected in Wuhan, a city in China in late 2019. There is currently no known vaccine, as scientists around the world are still trying to discover one.
