UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his fiancee, Carrie Symond, have welcomed a new baby boy.
Symond delivered the baby at an NHS Hospital in London, No.10 Downing Street announced, with the PM being present throughout the birth.
This is Boris Johnson’s first child with Ms Symond – he already has five kids.
Johnson was recently at death’s door after an intense battle with the coronavirus which left him in intensive care.
He gradually recovered and is now well enough to resume work and attend the birth of his child.
According to the PM’s office, both mother and baby are “doing very well” following the birth.
“The PM and Ms Symonds would like to thank the fantastic NHS maternity team,” Downing Street added.
