Influential Nigerian Stand-up Comedian, Ayo Makun popularly known as AY, has in an Instagram post admonished fans to let love lead. The comedian is one of many Nigerian celebrities who have demonstrated a remarkable show of generosity and concern for the vulnerable as Nigeria continues to battle the devastating economic effects of the lockdown which was imposed by the Federal government to check the spread of the coronavirus.
The Comedian wrote, ” Whenever you think of those cancelled trips, always remember that there are people with no place to go. When you think of the money you are losing due to the tumult of the pandemic on the economy, remember there are people with no source of income at all”.

He also added ” When you settle in for quarantine at home remember that there are people with no homes. When you have the flexibility to care for your children, also remember that there are children out there going hungry with no meals”.
“During this time that we cannot physically wrap our arms around each other, may God bless those who have sacrificed in one way or the other in helping friends, families and those in need around them. You may not be able to take care of everyone around you, but let love lead. #DoYourBest. He concluded.
