Most of Your Years In Acting You Won’t Make Any Good Money – Toyin Abraham Warns Upcoming Actors

Nollywood star Toyin Abraham has warned upcoming stars in the game that it is going to take them a long time to make any money from the industry.

Toyin dropped this huge secret in an interview with ‘Your View’, a program on TVC.

According to her, despite being in the industry for 13 years, she only started making money about 4 years ago.

Speaking about being able to help others by doing giveaways and other donations during this lockdown, Toyin said she’s now in a position to help but would not have been able to about 5 years ago.

“If this [COVID-19 lockdown] had happened five years ago, I wouldn’t have been able to give because I was not making money then. I just started making money three or four years ago,” she said.

Toyin’s career has been ongoing since the 2000s but she only started making money in the mid 2010s.

For upcoming stars, it’s a good thing to keep in mind as you struggle to get your break – no condition is permanent.
