Check Out The Sweet Thing Tom Hanks Did For This 8 Years Old Boy Who Is Being Bullied Because His Name Is Corona

Hollywood finest Tom Hanks who got infected with Covid-19 whiles he was shooting a movie in Australia last month has done the sweetest thing for an eight years old Aussie boy.

The young boy whose name has been given as Corona De Vries, an eight-year-old from the Gold Coast in Queensland state penned the actor a letter after he got to know that he was in their country the past weeks and even contracted the virus there.

In his letter, he inquired about the health of the actor and his wife and spoke about how he is being bullied in school because of his name.

“I heard on the news you and your wife had caught the coronavirus. Are you ok,” parts of his letter reads. He adds that he loves his name very much but his friends in school make a mess of the name because of the pandemic which makes him sad and angry.

Hanks replied to the letter, assuring the little boy that his letter really made him and his wife happy.

“Your letter made my wife and I feel so wonderful!..You know, you are the only person I’ve ever known to have the name Corona — like the ring around the sun, a crown.

“I thought this typewriter would suit you. Ask a grown-up about how it works. And use it to write back. P.S. You got a friend in ME!”
