Nigerian Actor and Politician, Yul Edochie has been in the news many times this week. The actor who probably has a lot of time on his hands due to the lockdown in Nigeria has not ceased to share his thoughts on social media as and when it becomes necessary.
The latest revelation the actor has made on Twitter is as hilarious as it is shocking. In a post on his twitter handle, the actor revealed that he once harboured the idea of abandoning school when he was in JS2. According to him, he had wanted to drop out of school to venture into selling electronics.
The actor and politician revealed that his father who obviously was not in support of his decision gave him a very sound beating which actually reset his brain to factory settings. As funny as it sounds, only few will doubt considering the image we have all formed in our minds about his father, the legendary Pete Edochie.
The actor was full of gratefulness towards his father when he reflected on how far he has come in life. Yul Edochie was named by his father after popular Russian actor Yul Brynner. He is the last of six children.

Well, we can’t help but join Yul Edochie to thank his legendary father for turning a boy who harboured the idea of dropping out of school into a prominent actor and politician with a degree from the prestigious University of Port Harcourt.
