The Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has revealed the Government’s plan to bring down the cost of mobile data. In an interview on Joy Fm, the honourable minister stated that government is in conversation with the Telecoms companies to reach a consensus on the matter.

Ghanaians for some time have been calling on Telcos to reduce the cost of their mobile data especially in view of the hardships brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.

Honourable Oppong Nkrumah revealed that the government has brought the agitations to the attention of the Telcos and conversations are on-going to address the issue.
