Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has come out with fire to deny reports that she has stolen Funke Akindele’s job as an ambassador for the Nigerian Centres for Disease Control (NCDC).
Toyin said she is not an ambassador and she has no plan to steal any job from her colleague Funke.
Social media went into meltdown last night after Toyin was spotted in a NCDC video educating the public on COVID-19.
People started calling her out for taking the job of her friend, Funke, who was kicked out of the role after she was arrested for holding a party during the lockdown.
Toyin after seeing the reports came out to deny that she’s stealing her colleague’s job.
“It has just been brought to my attention that blogs are reporting that I am now NCDC ambassador. Implying that I have been used to replace a colleague. That line of thought necessitate I put this out there. I am not an ambassador to NCDC.

“I do not like the narrative that I am trying to take advantage of a bad situation. I support the campaign against Covid-19, I appeared on a video campaign against the pandemic but please let’s not drag another person down. Thank you.” Toyin said in a statement.
