According to Dr Patrick Aboagye, Director General of the Ghana Health Service, 17 Patients who were on admission for COVID 19 have twice tested negative and have been discharged. The death toll stands at 8.
According to Dr Aboagye, an additional 66 patients are awaiting results of their second confirmatory tests. If confirmed to be negative on the second test, this could take the total recoveries to 87.
