Former Black Stars midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has donated a whopping $20,000 to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
Asamoah’s donation is to help aid the fight against the novel coronavirus, COVID-19.

The Inter Milan wingback, 31, is a native of the Ashanti Region where the hospital is located.
Kwadwo is currently stuck in Italy, which for a while was the global epicentre of the virus, but had the donation done in his name.
His father presented a cheque of $20,000 to the Hospital in his son’s name.
Asamoah, a veteran of the Stars’ team, joins Dede Ayew, Asamoah Gyan and others as footballers who have publicly donated to the fight against this pandemic.
