Coronavirus has slowed everything and everyone. Our lives are on hold, people have been forced to postpone their ceremonies and plans but not this couple.
They beat all the odds to go ahead with their wedding via video chat and amazing, they were able to connect about 45 people across the world.
According to this Twitter user, her brother was set to wed over the weekend and he and the new bride went ahead anyway even though there is a lockdown.
The twitter user with the handle @KiyaniBba says only the bride and groom with their witnesses were the only ones allowed albeit they wanted their friends and family to be present.
She narrates that she used Zoom to record the whole ceremony with about 45 people across the world.
Her narration;
”Today was my big bro’s wedding. Because of the virus, only the bride, groom and their witnesses were allowed in the room. As the official CTO of my family, I suggested that we set up a Zoom so that our relatives and friends could join us. I present to you the first Zoom Wedding.
“We had more than 45 people from France, CIV, Netherlands, SA, Calgary, etc. I muted everyone during the ceremony and recorded everything using zoom. People cried during the vows, in the end, I unmuted them and all at the same time they applauded and congratulated the newlyweds” Paragraph
Virtual wedding ceremonies have become the order of the day now— people have refused to allow Covid-19 to get in the way of their plans.
