Deciding to leave the house for any other thing that is not a necessity in this lockdown period does not put your life at risk but also, your friends, family and any other person at all.
All that is required of us is to stay home during this period and only step out if and only if what we are going out there to do cannot wait till later but obviously has become something impossible to do for others.
We have heard and seen videos and pictures of people defying this basic rule even as their own lives are at risk.
Nollywood actress Chioma Akpotha is here to reiterate that—may be hearing her chime those words would finally bring sanity.
Chioma says in as much as staying home is difficult, she advises that people adhere to it and comport themselves because this too shall pass.
