‘I’m Broken’ – Funke Akindele Cries Out In Despair After Being Arrested for Holding A Party

Nollywood actress Funke Akindele Bello has spoken out for the first time after being arrested for flouting lockdown orders in Lagos.

Funke held a birthday party for her husband on Sunday, with a video of it going viral.

Nigerians were furious because Lagos is supposed to be under lockdown with public gatherings banned but Funke and her friends were flouting it anyway they like.

Funke’s case is even worse because she was officially an ambassador of the Nigerian CDC and made a video advising people to practise social distancing.

After a public outcry, Funke was arrested by the Lagos State Police.

The arrest seems to have knocked some sense into her.

In a post on social media, she says she’s ‘broken’ but prays God can help her survive.

“I just pray I survive this. I’m so broken,” Funke wrote.
