A Ghanaian family in Belgium has been hit with a huge tragedy after their 12-year-old daughter died from the novel coronavirus.
The news of this tragic passing was reported by UK tabloid ‘The Sun’, which said the Ghanaian girl is the youngest person to die of the virus in Europe.

According to numerous reports, the girl was sent to hospital with a fever, but doctors sent her back home because they thought she had an allergic reaction and did not check for COVID-19.
The doctor reportedly said coronavirus was “out of the question” and prescribed fever meds for her.
When she went back home, her condition worsened until her worried mum called for an ambulance.
Unfortunately, her mother could not understand the operator and vice versa, meaning an ambulance was not dispatched to their location.
A friend later helped her take her baby to the hospital but she, unfortunately, passed away.
All over the world, people are dying from the virus in every country, city and jurisdiction you can think of.
Not even children are being spared.
