Nigerian singer Mr. Eazi has just given us quite the scare as he revealed he suffered from an ailment recent that felt and looked like Coronavirus.
Eazi says he has not taken the test though but he is feeling well now.
Narrating his ordeal on This Is Africa on BBC World Service radio, Eazi said he began to feel funny after he had lunch with London-based DJ Edu although he had resulted in eating lots of ginger and vitamins.
He adds that the influx of the virus has made him more aware and has created an avenue that allows him to speak to his mother like three times a day, which he would not do on a typical day.
“I think when things [like coronavirus] happen you’re looking for something, some kind of light within the entire situation… Now I’m speaking to my mom three times a day, which I usually don’t. So that’s one thing that has happened in this season – I’ve stayed more in touch with family.”
To people who still doubt the existence of the virus, Eazzy advised that they stayed home because the virus is very real.
“Please stay at home, the virus is real. I see a lot of people say ‘Oh the virus is not real’ – the virus is very real. Wash your hands, and stay away from the older people. Care for them but be careful, because you might not know you have the virus and you don’t want to get a lot of people sick.”
Eazi confirms that he is doing well albeit he has remained untested because one ought to show about 70% of the symptoms before they get tested.
