Many celebrities across the world have shown that behind the glam and glamour they exhibit on social media is a kind heart.
Most of them have donated monies and relief supplies to people who are genuinely in need of the basic things and the world applauds them for this selfless gesture.
Nigerian singer Runtown was the latest on the list. The man is offering 10M to all persons who are in dire need so they could also stock up as a total lockdown looms and people expect his colleagues in the industry to do the same.
So when Reekado Banks deviated from the expected, Twitter users immediately came for his head. The singer posted that he would be hosting a quarantine party with his fans on YouTube and fans think it is rather insensitive.
One user with the handle @Olaleka35016119 asked that he grows up because this is not the time for parties, adding that his mates are donating funds and Reekado slit right into him.
Banks says he is just sorry for him because he can see he grew up in a dysfunctional country.

Well, for what it is worth, we argue that this is Bank’s way of spreading calm and not fear.
