Ghanaian pastor based in the U.K, Pastor Brian Amoateng, revealed the true colours of many in the pastoral trade after going on a rant that anyone would dare ask the church to buy hand sanitizers to fight coronavirus.
Amoateng said the church cannot be expected to spend even a pesewa buying hand sanitizers for their members.
According to him just because members give the church money doesn’t mean they can expect anything from the church. According to him, the money given to the church goes to God and not to the pastors, and in return for their offering and tithe they receive blessings from God they don’t even know about.
His comments have of course been torn apart by Ghanaians appalled at the selfish and callous nature of a so-called pastor.
If the church cannot provide for God’s children in a time of need then what good is it at all?
Funnily enough, despite claiming that the money collected by the church all goes to God, Pastor Amoateng seems to be living a pretty flamboyant life.
In some photos of him spotted online, Amoateng looks very much like a 21st-century pastor, who lives in opulence and splendour whilst his congregation wonders where their next meal would come from.
This is the man you give your money to – and when you’re in need he would tell you they owe you nothing!
If for nothing at least this virus is exposing the true nature of many of these so-called men of God.
