Efia Odo to the surprise of many seems to be a little lot outspoken on this whole Covid-19 pandemic.
When we thought the only thing she knows how to do is to dress provocatively, she has proven to us with her submissions in these times of dire that ‘she get sense’.
On the back of encouraging social distancing and churches not been allowed to hold services, some churches have devised a new way to milk money from their already poor church members by holding a live church service with presumable people who are not more 25, asking that those who are at home pay their offerings and tithes through a Mobile Money number they have provided.
To many, what these churches are doing is wrong in every sense of the word because this is not a time for such and Efia Odo sits on the same bed with those who have found this rather disgusting and preposterous.
Miss Andrea Owusu has in a tweet made an attack on such churches. According to the actress, this certainly is not the time for churches to put their interest above that of its congregants.
She says instead of asking members for their tithes and offerings, they can as well take to supplying items like hand sanitizers and even extend their churches to the homeless.
She wrote; “Instead of asking for your members to pay offerings/tithes from home by using mobile money or cash app. Some people can’t even go to work due to this pandemic and y’all have the nerve to be asking for them to send money! Lives are at stake here, get serious and stop playing with GOD.”
