Yesterday, President Buhari committed a gaffe when he addressed his citizen with issues pertaining to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Instead of Covid-19, Buhari said Covik One Nine and the internet have since come for his head.

Some cannot fathom why and how a president could make this mistake whilst his media team watched unconcerned as he continually made a mess of himself during his speech.

Actress Uche Jombo took to her Twitter page to slam Buhari’s media team for allowing repeatedly to get the name wrong. According to her, his whole media team must be sacked because they are not competent and efficient enough to serve the president.

Well, controversial actor Uche Maduagwu is adding his voice to it. According to Uche, Jombo should rather concentrate on the president’s message and leave the pronunciation to be.

Following the gaffe, comments that came up is that President Buhari did not really make a mistake with the word. According to some, that is just his accent.
