Brazilian football icon, Ronaldinho turned 40 yesterday but marked the glorious occasion behind bars out of his home.

Ronaldinho was reported to have been arrested in Paraguay for allegedly using fake passport to enter the country.

Former Barcelona and Chelsea star player Samuel Eto’o has poured out his heart in a video seen on his page, wishing Ronaldinho a happy birthday.

In the emotional video, Samuel Eto’o highlighted the good deeds Ronaldinho has done over the years and pledged his unflinching support for him.

Speaking in his native tongue, Eto’o called Ronaldinho his brother and friend and urged him to keep faith.

“Hello brother, I have no words, brother. I don’t even know what to say. We are talking to see how we can encourage you. You are my brother, my friend. I can’t imagine what you’re going through. I can only ask you to have strength and to pray a lot.

I hope that all this can be solved soon, because you were frankly a good person and a good friend. From here, the black loves you very much and can count on me for everything you need. What i can do, i will do. And if i can;t do it, i’ll ask a friend for the favor.”
