The most-watched, downloaded, pirated, talked about and sought after Tv show ever, HBO Game of Thrones finally came to an end last year in May after nine years.
The ending did not sit well for lots of people, fans expectations were crashed especially when the mother of dragons Daenerys Targaryen was killed by Jon Snow— we certainly did not see that coming.
Emelia Clarke who played the role of Daenerys says she is still pissed by the ending of the show. According to her, she is annoyed that Jon Snow did not suffer anything in the end. Clarke says Jon got away with murder.
“I really felt for her. And yeah, was I annoyed that Jon Snow didn’t have to deal with something?” she joked. “He got away with murder — literally”.’ Clarke told the Sunday Times. It felt like coming out of a bunker. Everything felt really strange.”
She adds that they did so much to end the show albeit, she believes that the show could have continued for a little longer but she is thankful to everyone all the same.
“I knew how I felt when I first read it, and I tried, at every turn, not to consider too much what other people might say, but I did always consider what the fans might think – because we did it for them, and they were the ones who made us successful, so… it’s just polite, isn’t it—we could have spun it out for a little longer.”
