‘I’m Not Chasing Clout With Stonebwoy’s Name’ – Rex Omar As He Provides Evidence To Show Stonebwoy Stole His Lyrics

Recently highlfe artist who is currently the president of GHAMRO Rex Omar accused dancehall artist Stonebwoy of using his lyrics in one of his songs.

According to Rex Omar, Stonebwoy used his lyrics without his permission and in his hit song ‘Mane Me’ and that is illegal but he decided not to take any legal actions against him.

After his allegations, some social media users were wondering about the lyrics the highlife legend was referring to. In other to clear their minds one Facebook user Bennisah Savior asked him to assist him identify the lyrics.

According to Bennisah, he had listen to the song but couldn’t identify the lyrics of the highlife legend. Rex inscribed the lyrics of the song in the comment section while replying his post.

He elaborated to confirm his accusations but added that his sole purpose for doing that is to caution the upcoming artist not to use other people’s work without their permission.

He said he’s doing that to educate others to be appreciative and seek permission when they are going to use someone’s work.
