Coronavirus Patient Escapes From The Tema General Hospital – Community Living In Fear As He’s Suspected To Have Exposed 107 People To The Virus

A man who has tested positive for COVID 19 and receiving treatment at the Tema General Hospital has reportedly absconded from the facility.

The 41-year-old man is said to have left the hospital for home, opting for self-isolation because the facility doesn’t have adequate resources to treat him as he complained of heat.

The patient, a 41-year-old Ghanaian male who returned from Germany tested positive on the 14 of March following research by the Noguchi Memorial Institute.

According to the report, he has made 107 contacts of which 5 have reported to the hospital for testing.

According to the report, the patient is one of the 7 cases already recoded by the Ghana Health Service.
