AMVCA: Actress Monica Friday Slams Zubby Michael Over His Tribalistic Comments

Nollywood actress Monica Friday has slammed her colleague actor Zubby Micheal for tagging the organizers of AMVCA as tribalist.

Zubby Micheal who seemed not pleased with the organizers of the award classified the award as a joke and full of politics. According to him, the organizers were tribalistic hence they refused to recognize the real heroes of Nollywood.

He said the organizers of the awards are Yurubas therefore they favored the Yoruba entertainers. Some of his colleagues seem to disagree with the actor hence they slamming him.

Actress Monica Friday descended heavily on the actor asking him to mind his language next time he speaks. According to her, the awards has no manual therefore if the actor isn’t pleased he can go and organize his own awards.

She expressed her disappointment in the actor for making such statement knowing it can cause tribal war as some young youths look up to him as their mentor. Adding that with or without an award everyone is a star therefore it’s best to set a good example.
