As part of Ghana’s efforts to battle Coronavirus, celebrity ambassadors will be appointed to educate Ghanaians, the Minister for Information, Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah has stated.
Speaking at a stakeholders engagement involving Ghana Journalist Association (GJA), Ghana Independent Broadcasters Association (GIBA), Ghana Medical Association (GMA) and other agencies, Mr Oppong Nkrumah said that this move will help get the education down well through all walks of life since the celebrities are very influential to their fan base.
This seems to be a unique technique, one that no country has yet employed in the global fight against the pandemic.
