Organizers of the 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards have warned that no matter the situation in Ghana in regards to the coronavirus, they are not going to cancel the event.
In light of the coronavirus making its way to Ghana, adjustments are now being made to life to reflect the new reality of the pandemic.
School and church services have been cancelled and even the annual Kwahu Easter celebration has not been spared.
In the midst of all this, Charterhouse’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Robert Klah, has made it clear that they are not going to cancel the event.
Speaking on Daybreak Hitz, he said they plan to listen to the guidelines set up by government to deal with the outbreak but they would not cancel their event.
He said the worst-case scenario is that they postpone the event until whenever government would lift the ban on public gatherings.
The gist of the matter is – corona or no corona there will be a VGMA in 2020.
