Ghanaian highlife artist who is currently the president of GHAMRO Rex Omar has accused dancehall artist Stonebwoy of stealing his lyrics.

According to him, Stonebwoy copied his lines from one of his songs passing it on as his own without his permission.

Speaking on Hitz FM’s DaybreakHitz he said using ones lines without permission is a very serious breach but he decided not to take legal actions against Stonebwoy.

He said he saw Stonebwoy as a young upcoming artist who needs help with his career therefore he decided not to take any legal actions against him.

He also advised the young and upcoming artist to seek permission if they are going to use a line or rhythm or anything from someone’s work.
