There is a silver lining in the cloud for every one of us, fortunately for actress and tv host Gloria Sarfo, yesterday, that silver lining in her clouds came to light with full force for everyone to see.
Gloria Sarfo has been in the movie industry for as long as any of us can bring ourselves to remember— last night, she was deservingly recognized by The African Magic Viewers Choice Awards.

The actress won the slot for the best-supporting actress in Shirley Frimpong’s movie Perfect Picture; 10 Years Later when she played the role of a mother whose son was ‘s3xually abused’ by an older woman.
Gloria beat Nigeria’s Toni Tones, Eucharia Anunobi, Tina Mba, Mary Lazarus who were nominated for their role in ‘King of Boys’, ‘The Foreigner’s God’, ‘The Set-Up’ and ‘Size 12’ respectively to win the award.

Before this became a passing reality, she said in an interview how she appreciates the single fact that her role in that movie gained recognition because she was in about 3 or four scenes in the entire movie.
We guess when it is your time, it is your time. The actress held a watch and dine at her resident as she could not go to Nigeria for the event and when she was pronounced the winner, her reaction was a profound one.
We can only wish her well in the years ahead. Congratulations are in order, she has made Ghana proud.
