The Ministry of information represented by the Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has announced Governments plan to impose a temporal ban in and out of Ghana.
In a statement signed by the Information Minister, the government of Ghana advised that trips heading to and from Ghana should be on hold for the meant time due to the global outbreak of Coronavirus.

The statement also revealed a mandatory 14-day self quarantine for persons who are allowed to enter the Ghanaian jurisdiction has also been put in place.
Any traveler,except for Ghanaian citizens and persons with Ghana residence permits, who withing the last 14-days, has been to a country that has recorded at least 200 case of COVID-19, will not be admitted into the Ghanaian jurisdiction. A portion of the statement read.

The statement further advised all airlines to discourage persons from affected countries to board their planes bound for Ghana.
