Dutch-based Sierra Leonean musician Muzay Man has thrown a challenge to Ghanaian dancehall greats Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.
According to the afro dancehall artist, he’s a better musician than both Stonebwoy and Wale, and he’s prepared to prove his worth against them anytime they choose.
The Sierra Leonean musician, based in the Netherlands, took to his social media page to issue the inflammatory challenge.
“No cap I think am better than @stonebwoy and @shatta wale🎤🇸🇱 #mme #salonemusic,” he posted.
Born Musa Conteh, Muzay Man is a hugely accomplished Sierra Leonean afro dancehall artist.
The 2019 best male continental artist of the year winner at the All Works of Life (AWOL) awards in Belgium has loyal followings in both Sierra Leone and the Netherlands.
He has won several honours back in his native Sierra Leone including a national recognition from former President Ernest Bai Koroma and has the notable distinction of being the first artist in history to sell out Sierra Leone’s Globe Cinema Arena on Syke Street for a musical concert.
His music style has received critical acclaim – it’s no wonder he believes he can sing better than both Ghanaian dancehall giants.
If we know Shatta Wale he’s not going to leave this challenge go unanswered. Be prepared for some real fireworks.
