The vacuum would not be filled, the pain would not go away too soon, a lot of things would be a constant reminder of the person you lost to death but we can only be sad for a while, life definitely ought to go on.
The world is still collectively mourning the death of Basketball icon Kobe Bryant, her daughter Gianna and the nine others who died with them in a helicopter crash on the 26th of January.
We have all been left in a state of shock but the death of Kobe signifies how fleeting and short life can be. His wife and family continue to mourn and can only come close to the imagination of what they must be going through.
Kobe left behind a wife and three daughters ages Vanessa, 37, Natalia 17, Bianka, 3, and Capri, 8 months respectively.
Even in grief, they have managed a smile as they posed behind a mural of Kobe and Gigi. This is sad but equally beautiful. May all the lost souls continue to find rest.
