Ubi Franklin’s South African baby mama is out there shaking a very dangerous table and getting Nigerians mad at her.
Nicola Siyo, mother of one of Ubi’s kids and a South African national, said she spent two years in Nigeria and the lack of women’s rights there is astonishing.
According to her, just being a woman in Nigeria is enough to get you in trouble.
Her comments came in reaction to a post by novelist Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie about how women are perceived differently by society compared to men.
Ngozi had complained that a man and woman would do the same thing but whilst the man is praised, the woman would be vilified.
Nicola jumped into the comments to make her own observation: “I understand exactly where she is coming from. I spent 2 years in her Homeland Nigeria, sickening the lack of women’s rights. You are called all sorts of names because you stand for your name… as a woman.”
Needless to say Nigerians are not happy she’s trying to paint their country black when only God knows what happens in her own country.
