Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, was arrested on Wednesday in Los Angeles.
Petty was picked up by U.S Marshals and arraigned before court, charged with failing to register as a s*x offender after an address change.

Petty was convicted of attempted rape in 1995, when he was just 16 years old.
According to the guidelines of the New York State’s Sex Offender Registry, he has to register with authorities as a s*x offender whenever he changes his address, which he should have done after moving to California to join his pop star wife.
Petty, however, failed to do so, which led to an initial arrest in November 2019.
He was released on $20,000 bail at the time but then failed to follow up on the case.
So on 4th March, he was arrested again and this time released on $100,000 bail.

Under the terms of his release, his passport has been seized, he’s been put under electronic surveillance and he cannot travel anywhere beyond Southern California.
He’s also been submitted to a curfew and banned from using drugs, including marijuana which is legal in California.
