veteran Ghallywood actress Akorfa Aseidu Edjeani has slammed self-believed actress Moesha Budoung for her shallow comments she passed on how she believes pacesetters in the movie industry should be blamed for how movie producer has taken to treating actors and actresses anyhow and their refusal to use their services without paying them.

Moesha reportedly said in an interview;
“I would want to talk based on my experience in the industry, all the things coming out now is as a result of what those who came before us did. They were happy just being on the screens and did not see the need to be paid for their works” she said.
“Today, they have realized the money is not coming so they are calling out producers. Because they did not see the need to take money for work done, producers also saw no need to pay and that has been the trend for so long.
“There were times movie producers were using cars of their cast in their movies so it became a requirement. If you did not have a car, you would not get roles and interestingly, these actors were enjoying the fact that they were being used. I believe they had no idea a day like this was going to come”.
In Moesha’s little head, no one needs to be except these past actresses and actors who laid the foundation for them.
Akorfa who was not ready to be called names by any ungrateful so-called actress has asked Moesha to shut up already. She says she would prefer to think that Moesha had no idea of what she was talking about when she passed those comments adding that she is better off sticking with her day job, which is prostitution as she told CNN Amanpour some time ago.
She told Moesha; “She should rather appreciate the effort of these pacesetters for paving the way. If we didn’t pave the way can she [Moesha] call herself an actress.? During our time, there was no industry, we have to sacrifice. Sometimes you’re not paid for your services. I used to walk to rehearsals and back just so we can have something going on and build the industry. We sacrificed so much for this generation.
“The contract signing is still working yet payment for our services is delayed. She didn’t think through what she said, what she said was childish.
“In my era we had ethics and we love what we do. We have a passion for what we do and the industry at heart. The current generation of actors is benefiting from our hard work so we should be thanking us for that.
“I see some of this current generation of actors are only interested in receiving the status of fame and attention.” Akofa Edjeani told Eddie Ray on Kasapa Entertainment.
