Afia Schwar and Abrokwah’s marriage finally ended earlier this year— the divorce was finalized somewhere this January and Schwar have again opened up on her failed marriage.
According to the mother of three, Abrokwah was just a cleaner in a brother’s house she lived in South Africa after she underwent surgery and was bedridden.
According to her, her brother and sister-in-law were very lazy and Abrokwah was the cleaner who did everything for them.
“Lawrence will come and clean the house and ago, my brother is married to a Twana lady and they are very lazy and my sister-in-law will sit down like, won’t you wash the dishes, no Lawrence will come and wash it,” she said.
According to Schwar, it got to a point that she felt she was burdening her brother so she decided to go live with Lawrence who offered that he would treat her well and take care of her.
She recounts how Lawrence told her where he lives would not be up to her (Afia’s) Standards.
“He suggested he got a flat and I will quote him, he said “my flat won’t be up to your standard, I don’t have DSTV … but I can give you the proper care when you are with me…”
When asked what entailed the sort of care Lawrence offered to give, she said Abrokwah would sit her in a wheelchair and push her to the washroom.
