Two years after Anas Aremeyaw Anas released his ‘Number 12’ documentary exposing rank corruption, fraud and graft at the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi might finally face some justice.
The former GFA capo and a co-conspirator have been arraigned before court in Accra on several charges of fraud.
Nyantakyi has been charged with conspiracy to commit fraud, fraud and corruption by a public officer.

He and his co-conspirator, Abdulai Alhassan, have been accused of forging an MOU on behalf of a non-existent company which they used to fraudulently solicit $12m from some investors.
The money, as viewers of the documentary will remember, was supposed to be shared in this proportion: $5 million for the President, $3 million for the Vice President, $2 million for the Roads and Highway’s Minister, $1 million for his Deputy with the rest reserved for Mr Nyantakyi and Mr Alhassan.
In court, Nyantakyi was granted bail in the sum of Ghc 1m with three sureties, one to be justified.
The case has been adjourned till March 25th, 2020.
