A well-known Nigerian billionaire, Charles Adenikinju from Ondo State has been killed by some unknown assailants.
According to reports, the business mogul was attacked in his house along Ife Road, Ondo town, headquarters of Ondo-West Local Government Area of the state.
The unknown assailants who are suspected to be armed robbers attacked the wealthy man at midnight and shot him in the stomach.
“We are still shocked about the killing of Adenikinju by the hoodlums who broke into his house around midnight.
“They shot him in the stomach and he died immediately. It is sad and we have called on the police to investigate this.’ A neighbour disclosed.
Police Public Relations Officer in Ondo State, Mr Femi Joseph has confirmed the incident, noting investigation has already been launched.
