Nollywood veteran actor Yul Edochie has touched on the way and manner some actors and actresses in the industry showed no iota of respect for the veterans who have been in the industry appalls him.
According to him, most of them have fizzled out from the industry whilst the old people have continually enjoyed their careers, still in high demand.
Most often than not, people tend to show disrespect to old folks in a particular field because, in their puerile minds, they think their time has passed and they are the new faces in high demand…

Forgetting that it is these same veterans who laid the foundation of the industry they so gallantly want to enjoy and stay in.
Well, Yul who has a father in the industry says it is because of such insolence that has landed many of his colleagues’ jobless as far as acting is concerned.
“When I joined Nollywood in 2005,” Yul said, “I met a couple of actors/directors who had no respect for elders in the business. Today, all those guys have fizzled out without achieving much while the veterans are still waxing strong…”
