Nigerian media personality Noble Igwe has warned adults all over the world whose parents keep worrying them for money – you don’t owe them anything!

According to him, parents had time to build their own lives so they should be able to take care of themselves rather than dumping all their issues onto their kids.

Igwe’s controversial post is sparking real debate on social media.

“The biggest scam ever invented by parents was / is making their children send them money in their own age. I repeat, you don’t owe your parents anything. They were here before you and should have prepared for old age. Parents are always taking and taking. Stop the pressure!” he warned.

If your parents take care of you aren’t they entitled to something the other way around?
