Iyanya Granted 20m Naira Bail In Car Theft Case

Nigerian musician Iyanya, Yvonne Nelson’s former boyfriend, has been granted bail in the case of car theft brought against him.

In court today, the judge listed the conditions for bail for Iyanya.

He’s been granted bail in the sum of 20m naira with one surety to be justified.

Iyanya is alleged to have fraudulently converted to his use a Black Toyota Land Cruiser belonging to Temple Management Company Ltd.

He has been charged with flouting Sections 278(1) (b), 279(1)(2) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.

Iyanya pleaded not guilty and the case has been adjourned till May 27th for trial.
