Veteran Nigerian musician Eedris Abdul Kareem has taken a swipe at actress Mercy Aigbe with regard to how and why her marriage failed. Prior to Valentine’s Day, Mercy revealed that she has been married twice and all of it failed.
According to the mother of two, her first marriage failed and she was so hell burnt on making the second one work so much so that, she actually endure domestic violence from her then-husband.
To Mercy, the straw that broke the camel’s back was when she was hit by him and that nearly got her dead. That was when she realized she had to walk away irrespective of what society had to say.
Then on Valentine’s Day, she shared a video of how side chics should be wary and get as much money from the men they are dating because those men are not theirs.
As expected social media folks came at her but she later explained that she was in no way advising ladies to get themselves involved with any of that. She claims all that was meant as a joke. Guess who is not buying that?— Eedris.
Eedris says Mercy left her marriage because the money she probably was not getting from her ex-husband and now she is enjoying every bit of being a single mother and cashing out so she has advised others too.
Eedris certainly is on something high and cheap—how is it okay for someone to stay in an abusive marriage?
