Burna Boy’s arrogance would someday land him in a situation that would go beyond his comprehension. The utterances he has been making in this recent past is a clear indication that stardom has gotten into his head.
Recently, Burna Boy has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. In a series of tweets, the Afrobeats icon revealed that no one aside the legendary Fela Kuti and his family can ever say they helped him to become who he is today.
He further stated without mincing words that, he could care less about any compliments from his fans because they could be hailing and lauding him and wishing the worse for him all at the same time.
Burna’s arrogance in inexcusable and has gotten on the nerves of Eedris AbdulKareem, a veteran Nigerian singer. According to him, the Grammy Awards Winner should zip it already because he stole Fela’s songs to be where he is today.
“Burna Boy needs to apologize. At least Fela made it happen for you and you stole a lot of Fela’s songs to become who you are. You stole a lot from Afrobeats to become who you are. Even though Fela’s songs are strictly about messages that add value to the people. What is your song all about?” He said.
