Fans rushing the stage during performances by adored Nigerian artists is becoming something of a tradition.
It happened to Tiwa Savage not so long ago and the latest to suffer it is Davido.

Davido was performing at the Lagos Marathon Event after returning to the country from the Emirates when a fan rushed the stage.
That startled the musician who jumped back a bit, before security rushed in and contained the situation.
