A social media user has told a story which, if true, validates the saying ‘honesty is the best policy’.

According to him, after receiving his January salary, he realized that he had been overpaid.

Rather than keep quiet and keep the money for himself, he reported it back to his superiors.

Apparently, the whole thing had been a test so by reporting it, he passed – and then he received a raise for real.

He’s being praised on social media for his actions.
