National Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Sammy Gyamfi has been arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police.
According to reports, he was picked this morning following a discussion on UTV‘s “Adekye Nsroma” morning show.
The communications officer was arrested the moment after he stepped out of the studio for his driver to pick him from the venue.
He was reportedly picked by some CID officers who had issued an arrest warrant for him.
Sammy Gyamfi has reportedly been taken to CID Headquarters in Accra.

Meanwhile, the reason for his arrest is yet to be disclosed.
