Ghanaian musician Sonnie Badu, after receiving some criticism from social media users over his call for the name of the Kotoka International Airport to be changed, has turned his anger on those challenging his assertion.
According to Badu, Ghanaian youth with no electricity and small data on their phone won’t do anything productive with their lives but rather come on social media to attack celebs.

Badu had suffered some attacks for suggesting the Kotoka International Airport should be renamed after Kwame Nkrumah.
In response, he took to Facebook Live to hit back.
“What are we doing as the youth of Ghana?. I am working hard to put Ghana on the map, to put Africa on the map, you get a youth who has a little credit left on their phone and they quickly text insults quick insults. Yet they probably don’t have lights at home, instead of them to ask how are you doing up there, how can we get there?, they are quick to do it and insult.
“Right now I travel a lot, Ghanaians who break through they don’t want to be called Ghanaians. Ghanaians who have broken through they will tell you if you want to prosper don’t make Ghanaians your friends. Churches that have broken through and the pastor is Ghanaian, 85% of the members are not Ghanaian members. Because Ghanaians will go to the church and they will pull it down, things they haven’t seen they will tell you they have seen, things they haven’t heard they will tell you they have heard.”
According to Badu, Ghanaians are the people who can betray each other the most all over the world.
“…Everywhere we go in the world quote me anywhere, Ghanaians are the quick to betray people, Ghanaians are quick to pull people down, Ghanaians are quick to run people down. Anywhere in the world…you would realize that even when it comes to even immigrational issues Ghanaians are the ones to pull their own people down. It started from when the nation was birthed.”
